TheTron – set specifications: Alnico V – Bridge 5.32 KOhms, 1.96H .Neck – 4.36KOhms, 0.88H

The Tron pickup set is based around the legendary Gretsch Filtertron^® pickups of the 50’s and 60’s. TheTron is full and rounded with a well balanced mid range with the distinctive ‘clank’ that separates it from other pickups. The neck pickup is clear and fat and the bridge stands out from the mix without ever sounding harsh.

Bridge pole spacing:

TheTron for bridge comes in two pole spacing options; 49.2mm or 52mm.  Not sure what spacing you need? Here is some info on bridge pickup pole spacing and how to choose which is right for you.

Cover insert options:

Please let us know if you’d like black, blue or gold cover inserts.

TheTron mounting options:

TheTron has mounting options: standard for no extra charge or, choose either adapter plates to mount to Gibson-style 2 screw humbucker rings, or to mount to 3 screw rings as found on some Gretsch guitars. Adapter plates are an additional $20 per set. Please see the FAQ for more information.
