We’re a New Zealand based business. New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act, applies to our dealings with you.
All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars and exclude freight. 15% Goods and Services Tax will be added at the checkout for NZ customers only. Payment can be made by PayPal, credit card via Stripe or direct deposit if you’re in New Zealand.
If you’re ordering from overseas, payment is made by PayPal or credit card via Stripe. Payment for products and shipping is to be made in New Zealand dollars only. You may be charged a currency conversion fee; if so any charges are your responsibility to pay.
Shipping and Delivery
For New Zealand purchases we use tracked postage via NZ Post and will send you the tracking details once the parcel is on its way.
We use NZ CourierPost and DHL for international shipping. Our international shipping is tracked and signature required so please give us a street address for delivery. We’ll include your email address and contact telephone number in the information we give to NZ CourierPost and DHL to make it as easy as possible for them to get your pickups to you. Please let us know as soon as possible if your details change.
Please be aware that you remain liable for any customs fees, duties and taxes levied on the shipment by the destination country regulatory authorities (“customs fees, duties and taxes”) and you may need to pay these before the item can be released to you. Customs fees, duties and taxes, if any, are not included in the purchase price.
While we hope this is never necessary, if NZ CourierPost or DHL claims the cost of return shipping or payment of the customs fees, duties and taxes from Mr Glyn’s Pickups because you either refused to pay any of the customs fees, duties and taxes, or because the shipment is deemed by NZ CourierPost or DHL to be undeliverable, we’ll need to pass the liability for these costs to you. In the unfortunate and hopefully unlikely event this happens we’ll issue an itemised PayPal invoice with the cost of return shipping or customs fees, duties and taxes to your PayPal account, payment due within 7 days of issuing the invoice.
Not happy with what you’ve received? (Returns & Refunds)
Under NZ law if the pickup is faulty or you’re not happy with the quality, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or a refund https://comcom.govt.nz/consumers/dealing-with-typical-situations/returns-and-refunds (Consumer Guarantees Act)
If for whatever reason you’re not happy with your pickup, please call us +6421912678 or email firstname.lastname@example.org; our priority is to come to a solution that works for you. This might mean repairing at no cost to you, exchanging for a different pickup that better meets your needs, or refunding the purchase price.
Exchanges – once we have the original product back we’ll happily repair or exchange for a non-faulty pickup in the event of a fault, or exchange for a different pickup from our line-up if you’ve had a change of heart. We’ll refund the difference if the exchange is for a less expensive pickup than your original purchase, you’ll cover the difference if it costs more. If you’re returning a pickup for exchange please make sure it is sent to us by signature required courier and notify us of the tracking number.
Refunds – refunds will be processed in the same means that payment was made. We’ll put through any refunds as soon as we can once we receive the pickup you’re returning. Refunds are for the purchase price and do not include any shipping costs.
