3 string humbucker

Description

3 string humbucker pickup is my humbucking design for cigar box guitars.

Specifications: D.C. resistance 3.6kOhms, 1.06H, Alnico V

The coil for my 3 string humbucker pickup is based around the Gibson PAF scaled down for the smaller bobbin.
I’ve used rod magnets to create clarity and string definition, giving fuller, meatier sound with a more pronounced mid range. They are, of course, hum canceling which can be very useful especially when using overdrive.
