I’ve compiled the Guitar Repairs NZ Directory 2025 to help you find a competent guitar repairer in your area to fit your Mr Glyns Pickups. Last updated February 2025.
If you are in Australia I have compiled a list of Australian guitar repairers.
If you are fitting your pickups yourself feel free to drop me a line or call if you need help. I’ll do what I can to make it as easy as possible.
If you have a pickup in need of repair, just get in touch with me, that’s my thing.

I’m planning to extend this list in future so if you’re a guitar repairer or can recommend a good one in your area or country just let me know.

It isn’t easy choosing the right guitar repairer for you. Trusting someone with your beloved instruments can be hard.
If you’re checking out a repairer for the first time make sure you know exactly what you want and make sure you get that across. An experienced guitar repairer will be able to listen, take on board what you’ve said and tailor their work to your requirements.
I was a full time guitar repairer for 25 years and I always felt it was a collaboration between myself and the player. Once you build up that relationship it becomes easy as you both learn what the other likes.
For me the most crucial elements to look for are experience and the ability to listen to the customer.
Keeping all your guitars well maintained is crucial to their play-ability and sound. I think the easiest thing is just to play all your guitars regularly, and keep your strings fresh, new strings are such a joy.
I hope this list proves useful and I wish you a lifetime of happy guitar playing.
